For wall-to-wall carpets you can choose between 3 different types of laminated backings:
For use with contract underlay system or direct stick
Available for our Graphic carpets. The Laminated Textiles Backing offers 2 mm less total height of the carpet compared to the Laminated Felt Backing. A very durable textile that help the carpet keep its dimensions during handling and installation. Our lamination process reduces the total weight of the carpet – as the raw carpet and backing are fixed by a thin lamination layer. No fillers or glue is used. This makes the carpet very dimension stabile and easy to fit and match the carpet pattern when installed. It also ensures that the carpet will return to is form even when handled and folded to fit into elevators for transportation to the place of installation.

Available for Colortec carpets only. The Laminated Textiles Backing offers 4.5mm less total height of the carpet compared to the Laminated Felt Backing. The textile is made in Malivat – a very durable textile that help the carpet keep its dimensions during handling and installation. Our lamination process reduces the total weight of the carpet – as the raw carpet and backing are fixed by a thin lamination layer. No fillers or glue is used. This makes the carpet very dimension stabile and easy to fit and match the carpet pattern when installed. It also ensures that the carpet will return to is form even when handled and folded to fit into elevators for transportation to the place of installation.
